Michigan Merit Curriculum and the Personal Curriculum Flexibility

Michigan Merit Curriculum and the Personal Curriculum Flexibility

The Personal Curriculum is a tool to modify Michigan Merit Curriculum requirements, individualizing a student's high school experience. This webinar will focus on:
1) Defining the 18 required credits of the MMC.
2) Explaining the modifications that are allowed through a PC.
3) Providing guidance on how to make such decisions appropriately, based on a student's postsecondary plans.
Additionally, different PC scenarios will be discussed with examples shown to see how courses can potentially be removed as needed, allowing better options to be put in place.
