Since 2016, the first year of the reach higher high school grant allowed participating schools to strategically prioritize the development and implementation of five essential elements to build a college-going culture in the building. Those five areas included the creation of a postsecondary advisory committee, participation in College Bound Michigan, an assessment of college going culture, a school counseling self-assessment, and an analysis of student outcomes data.

For the 2020-2021 academic year, this grant is on hold while we rework High School grant strategy alongside the strategic plan. For more information on past projects or the Reach Higher Year 1 Grant, contact Autumn Kearney, Strategy Manager.
