MCAN is hiring an AmeriCorps member to support Michigan Equity, Courage, Hope, and Opportunity Scholarship (MI ECHO) scholarship recipients. Michigan College Access Network (MCAN), in close partnership with Michigan colleges and universities, seeks to help more Michigan students pursue postsecondary education. The AmeriCorps member will work with community colleges to supplement campus efforts to increase persistence and completion of MI ECHO scholarship recipients. The MI ECHO scholarship is a tuition-free pathway for students who are not eligible for federal financial aid to pursue an associate degree or certificate. It is designed to serve DACA recipients, Temporary Protected Status immigrants, Special Immigrant Juveniles, and other populations who are excluded from most traditional financial aid opportunities.

Note: This is the same application as our traditional College Completion Corps program. You can state your preference for the MI ECHO position during the application process.
