Partnership Manager, AdviseMI
She/Her/Hers

As partnership manager for AdviseMI, Amy focuses on the development and supervision of college advisers, as well as managing relationships with partner schools across the state.

Amy brings 17 years of higher education experience to MCAN, including positions at two- and four-year institutions. She has worked with traditional college students as well as transfer students, adult learners, and students serving in the military. Amy has held positions in residence life, campus activities, and student engagement, academic advising, orientation, and as an adjunct instructor teaching a college success course for community college students.

Amy was a recipient of the Possible Dream scholarship at Delta College, which opened the door to higher education for her. After starting at Delta College, she transferred to Central Michigan University, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in interpersonal and public communication. She then went on to earn a Master of Education from Saginaw Valley State University. Amy was a first-generation college-going student, and she counts the day her diploma came in the mail as one of the proudest moments of her life. She credits all of her academic accomplishments to her grandma and mother, who encouraged and inspired her every step of the way.

Amy is a proud mother and auntie. She also enjoys reading, traveling, yoga, and has recently rekindled her spark for performing in local musical theater productions.
