As program assistant for MCAN’s Advising and Coaching department, Annie Sullivan recruits and helps to onboard AmeriCorps members for AdviseMI and College Completion Corps, provides administrative support to ensure program compliance, and executes MCAN’s AmeriCorps alumni engagement strategy.

Prior to joining MCAN, Annie worked for other nonprofit organizations in the Lansing area, including Spartan Child Development Center and Junior Achievement of Mid Michigan. Through her previous work, Annie supported the growth of young people while working in close collaboration with educators, volunteers, and families.

After graduating from Northville High School, Annie spent a year at Madonna University focusing on American Sign Language and deaf culture studies. She then transferred to Michigan State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in human development and family studies, making her a third-generation Spartan.

Outside of work, Annie enjoys reading books, riding her bike on the Lansing River Trail, and spending time with friends and family.
