Reconnect Expansion Outreach Campaign Grant
Michigan College Access Network recognizes the great work of college access programs across the state to move Michigan closer to our goal of Sixty by 30 — to increase the percentage of Michigan residents with degrees or postsecondary certificates to 60 percent by the year 2030. The Reconnect Expansion Outreach Campaign Grant opportunity is aimed at increasing the enrollment of adult learners age 21-24 in community colleges given the state’s recent expansion of eligibility for Michigan Reconnect.
Reconnect Expansion Outreach Grants will fund outreach campaigns aimed at increasing the enrollment of adult learners age 21–24 in Michigan community colleges. Each campaign will be executed by a community-based organization whose primary focus is on serving individuals and families of color and/or low-income communities within community college districts. Organizations do not need to have an education focus as their primary mission in order to be eligible. MCAN aims to support 20 grants of $10,000 each to implement a Reconnect expansion outreach campaign.
