College Completion Corps Coach — MCAN

MCAN’s College Completion Corps will place full-time AmeriCorps members on community college campuses to supplement campus efforts to increase persistence and completion for students who have the most college success barriers. Working in partnership with professional campus staff, coaches will organize learning sessions for small groups, coordinate 1:1 meetings with students, and provide reminders of key activities. The purpose of this program is to assist students with their acclimation to campus, build their knowledge of campus systems and resources, and help them successfully persist to completion.

College Adviser — AdviseMI

AdviseMI, in close partnership with Michigan colleges and universities, seeks to help more Michigan students pursue postsecondary education. Serving alongside high school counselors and other school professionals, advisers will support students as they explore postsecondary options, complete the college-going steps, and make the transition from high school to college.

Human Resources Generalist — MCAN

Under the supervision of the Director of Administration and Human Resources, the Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource area of responsibility, including hiring and interviewing staff and AmeriCorps members; administering employee records, benefits, and leave; and supporting organizational policies and practices.

Executive Director — Lansing Promise

Reporting to the Lansing Promise Foundation and Zone Authority Boards, the ED will oversee strategic planning, fundraising, staff development, financial management, and stakeholder engagement. This is a full-time, exempt position supervising a team of 7 FTEs. The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring that the organization's vision is executed effectively, equitably, and sustainably—while maintaining strong relationships with donors, education partners, and the community.

Student Success Coach (Four-year Colleges and Universities) — Pontiac Promise Zone

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, responsibilities include assisting and guiding students in retention and completion efforts. The Student Success Coach is a collaborative student-centered service position focused on retention management, outreach, and intervention for University/College programs.

Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) — Pontiac Promise Zone

Regional Apprenticeship Project Manager — Competency-Based Education Network

Working with state agencies, federal agencies, employers, and education providers, project managers will guide the development of apprenticeship standards, explain regulatory requirements, and promote competency-based approaches. They will offer responsive support to help states meet milestones, deliver workshops and trainings, and coordinate subject matter experts.

Postsecondary Success Coach — Hazel Park Promise Zone & College Access Network

The Postsecondary Success Coach will serve as the primary point of contact for Hazel Park Promise Zone scholars attending four-year universities. The coach will provide personalized, equity-centered coaching and support to help students succeed academically, financially, and socially. A key responsibility of this role is collaboratively managing a community mentoring program to foster engagement, connection, and long-term success.

Director of Student Success and Strategic Initiatives — Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential

The Director of the Student Success and Strategic Initiatives division is a key member of the MiLEAP Office of Higher Education leadership team. They are responsible for driving a statewide student success agenda that results in more students earning a skill certificate or college degree and contributes to Michigan achieving Sixty by 30. The Division Director of Student Success will bring deep knowledge of effective practice in improving student persistence and completion. They will have experience scaling best practice and building diverse coalitions. They will be skilled managers with the ability to lead bold, yet achievable, implementation plans.
